Fees, Insurance,
and Scheduling

My fees vary depending on the type of treatment and your insurance coverage. Fees or copayments are generally due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Insurance

I participate with the following insurance companies:

  • Aetna
  • RBH
  • First Choice
  • LifeWise
  • MHN
  • Moda
  • Optum
  • United Healthcare
  • Regence Blue Cross
  • Blue Cross

Insurance coverage varies among plans, even within the same insurance company. Please confirm directly with your insurer that I participate in your specific plan and that the proposed treatment is covered.

Private-Pay Fees

For patients who are not using insurance, my standard fee is $300 for a 45-minute session.

Because psychoanalysis and other forms of intensive psychotherapy involve multiple sessions per week, fees and financial arrangements for these treatments are discussed individually during the consultation. In some circumstances, a different fee arrangement may be appropriate.

Patients using out-of-network benefits may be eligible for partial reimbursement, depending on their insurance plan.
